The flight of our smart kites is controlled by a control unit (Kite Control Unit) that is hanging under the kite. The KCU is connected to the kite with lines used for steering and change the lift of the kite by means of micro-winches. We are looking for a passionate technician to assist our engineering team in maintaining the KCU. Are you a passionate technician with hands-on experience with electronics and mechanics? Profile:

• Experience with electronics.

• Experience in mechanical assembly.

• Hands-on attitude.

• Pro-active & problem-solving attitude with a good ability to work independently.

• Familiarity with computers & robotics.

• Good miscellaneous maintenance skills.

Tasks:

• Running & supervising KCU integration tests.

• Repairing KCU related hardware.

• Organising mechanical and electromechanical paraphernalia.

• Assisting in developing and implementing KCU advancements.

• Occasionally attend flight tests and assist the engineering team at the aerodrome.

Extra Assets:

• Sewing machine skills

• Soldering skills
